Meseret Defar and Three More Olympic Medalists Add Even More Depth to adidas Grand Prix

Meseret Defar, the 2004 Olympic 5000m Champion, has been been confirmed to compete in the Women's 1500m at Saturday's adidas Grand Prix. Defar broke the world record for 5000m the last time she competed at the meet in 2006, and will face a deep field that includes the reigning Olympic Champion, and America's Shalane Flanagan, the Olympic bronze medalist at 10000m. World Champion Phillips Idowu will compete in the Triple Jump, while two-time World Champion Kerron Clement completes a stellar field in the Men's 400m Hurdles. We're happy to announce that the 2010 adidas Grand Prix has completely sold out. If you have your tickets, you're set to to have a firsthand view of what's shaping up to be the best one-day track meet ever held on US soil! If you won't be coming to meet this Saturday, don't forget to watch the live broadcast on NBC from 4PM-6PM EDT.

The Action Starts at 3PM

Don't forget that the start time for the adidas Grand Prix has been moved up 30 minutes and the meet now begins at 3PM. With more than 30 individual Olympic and World Champions confirmed to start on Saturday it's easy to see why every minute will be action packed!
